Why This Site Exists
For many years, millions of people encountered claims about Onision through public platforms.
Many of those claims were presented with absolute certainty.
In some cases, allegations were repeated as established facts even when the underlying evidence was incomplete, disputed, contradicted, deprived of context, or never meaningfully examined.
Short clips replaced complete videos.
Selected screenshots replaced full conversations.
Commentary replaced primary sources.
Headlines replaced careful analysis.
Popularity replaced proof.
Accusations received widespread attention while responses, contradictions, official records, later statements, and important chronology often received considerably less.
The result was a public identity constructed around what other people said Onision was, rather than a complete examination of who James actually is and what the evidence actually shows.
Onision Wiki exists to preserve and organize the fuller record.
Where the evidence supports James or Lucas (his spouse), this site will say so clearly.
Where public claims are contradicted by original records, those contradictions will be documented.
Where important context was omitted, that context will be restored.
Where the available evidence is incomplete, conflicting, or inconclusive, the matter should be identified as disputed or unresolved.

Onision Wiki is operated by Onision and authorized site administrators.
The site was created at the request of an Onision supporter and was funded by members of the Onision community who believed that the complete history should be preserved in a permanent, organized, and publicly accessible location.
Onision Wiki is not presented as an independent news organization, a neutral third-party encyclopedia, or an openly edited community website.
It is a first-party historical and evidentiary archive maintained by the person at the center of the history it documents.
That relationship is disclosed openly because transparency matters.
The Onision household has an obvious personal interest in responding to claims they believe are false, misleading, exaggerated, selectively presented, or deprived of critical context.
Their positions should not be accepted merely because they state them.
They should be evaluated against the records, chronology, documents, videos, messages, court filings, public statements, and other available evidence.

The Central Principle
The central principle of Onision Wiki is simple:
Claims should be evaluated against the strongest available evidence, not against repetition, popularity, outrage, reputation, or assumption.
A statement does not become true because it was repeated many times.
A viral video is not automatically accurate because it received millions of views.
A screenshot does not necessarily explain what happened before or after it.
A public accusation is not automatically proven by the confidence or emotion with which it was delivered.
A documentary is not automatically complete because it was professionally produced.
A lawsuit does not automatically prove every allegation contained within it.
Likewise, a response from Onision should not be accepted simply because it came from Onision.

Who Onision Really Is
Onision is not merely a collection of internet controversies.
James has spent many years working as a creator, performer, comedian, musician, author, commentator, podcaster, website operator, and online community host.
His public identity has often been reduced to the most hostile accusations ever made about him.
That does not represent the complete history of his life, his intentions, his relationships, his work, his mistakes, or his development as a person.
This archive will examine the controversies seriously, but controversy will not be allowed to erase everything else.

James and his Spouse
This archive documents matters involving both James and his spouse, Lucas.
Lucas has previously been known online by names including Laineybot, Lainey, Kai, and CoolGuyKai.
Public discussion frequently merged James and Lucas into a single simplified narrative, even where the relevant actions, statements, relationships, allegations, or legal theories were different.
