Screenshot of Shiloh’s June 25, 2011 Draculoh blog post titled “I don’t want a doctor.” Responding to criticism that Onision should have forced her to seek medical care, Shiloh states that she did not want a doctor and asks whether losing parts of her memory deprived her of the right to make her own decisions.

Shiloh says she had experienced the memory problem before, believed it was her body’s response to stress, distrusted doctors in both Canada and the United States, and was willing to accept the consequences of refusing medical evaluation. She refers to potentially losing memories from the previous three years, a period encompassing much of her relationship with Onision.

Shiloh expressly defends Onision, says she is happy with him, states that he loves her, and says he had proved that he was willing to care for her. She attacks critics who blamed him, asks the public to respect her decision, and concludes that she stands by it. The post is contemporaneous evidence that Onision’s failure to force treatment reflected Shiloh’s publicly stated wishes rather than indifference to her health.
